Muchinson Falls National Park and conservation area
Also known as the Kabalega National Park, it is located in the Albertine Rift Valley with its terrain bisected by the Victoria Nile. Here the River Nile waters flow through a gorge only seven metres wide to plunge forty three metres forming the Murchinson Falls or Kabalega Falls, often touted as one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. The park offers rich biodiversity, and an enormously rewarding bird watching experience.
